Campground Rules
These rules will help assure quiet and clean surroundings to make your stay with us enjoyable. Please read these rules and review them with your children. Our facilities are here for you to use, but not to abuse.
Registration: Required immediately upon arrival. Do not set up any site or change sites without first checking with office staff. One family and sleeping facility per site are allowed. Family consists of two adults and three dependant children under the age of 18. You must be 19 years or older to rent a site.
Check-In/Out: Check-in time is 1 pm and check-out time is 12 pm. If you are planning to stay another night, please check with the office before 11 am as we do take reservations for sites and we must know
Visitors: All visitors must register at the office before entering the campground. There will be a fee of $5.00 per vehicle (limit of two adults) - this fee DOES NOT include the use of the pool. A pool pass is available from the office for $3.00 per person. A visitor's pass will be issued and must be displayed on the vehicle at all times. Visitors are subject to all rules and regulations. All visitors must leave the campground by 10 pm. If visitors stay overnight, there is a charge of $8.00 per person.
Quiet Time: Quiet time from Sunday to Thursday is 10 pm to 7 am, and Friday and Saturday is 11 pm to 7 am. If you play music, please keep the volume down. All music must be turned off by 10 pm. Excessive noise will not be tolerated. Please respect the camper beside you.
Campfires/Fire Rings: Campfires permitted on Provincial Burn Days. It will be posted at the office if prohibited. Please DO NOT move fire rings. Cutting of trees and breaking of branches is strictly prohibited. Fires must be thoroughly extinguished before being left unattended. No burning of garbage or glass bottles in fire rings.
Pets: To walk a dog on campground property, you must be age 12 or older (unless accompanied by an adult) and physically able to control the strength of your dog in the case of an altercation. Unfortunately, it is not safe to assume that other pets are as friendly, obedient, etc. as yours is. We have had problems with children walking pets and not cleaning up after them, throwing poop bags in fire pits, not physically able to control their pet when another pet or distraction is encountered, etc. We have a lot of people in our campground as well as a lot of dogs. This includes a few people who are terrified of dogs, so dogs MUST be tied at ALL times. We appreciate the value of a family pet, and this rule will help ensure that pet owners and non-pet owners alike can all enjoy their camping experience. Dogs must be walked on a leash no longer than 6 feet (this includes retractable leashes), provided they are under control at all times. Please note that pets are not allowed in the play area at any time for sanitary reasons.
Grey Water: Absolutely no dumping of dish water, sink water, shower, or toilet on the ground. Please use the dumping stations. This rule is strictly enforced.
Pool: Pool rules are posted - please make sure you and your children are familiar with them. Children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. Absolutely NO toys or boogie boards allowed.
Rec Barn: Children under the age of twelve require constant adult supervision while in the Rec Barn. Children ages thirteen and older will need to be supervised on an hourly basis - no exceptions. Parents must accompany young children to the rest rooms at all times. All children must be on their own site at quiet time unless accompanied by an adult.
General Rules
Violation of any rule may result in disciplinary action up to and including loss of campground privileges and fees. Heritage Country Camping assumes no responsibility for loss by fire or theft or accidents to guests, property or persons.
Your comments are encouraged and appreciated. We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay with us.
